This vintage style graphical illustration depicts the impressive Helvellyn mountain range, as seen from Angle Tarn in the Lake District. In subtle autumnal tones, the water looks tranquil against the mountainous backdrop.

Helvellyn is one of the most popular walking and hiking locations in the whole of the UK. Some early visitors to Helvellyn were the poets Samuel Taylor Coleridge and William Wordsworth, who lived nearby at the time. At it's highest point, Helvellyn is around 950m above sea level; hikers who make it to the summit are rewarded with breathtaking views across virtually the whole of the Lake District.

Taking inspiration from the railway travel posters of the 1920's and 30's, local Lake District artist Lloyd Hopkinson has created this perfect memento of a visit to the lakes.

Fine art quality print, hand trimmed and packed with care in the UK. The given print sizes include the white border around the image.
